xxxxxChance is new to town, arriving from New York City to attend ASU as an Art Major. Apparently, he wanted a nice, quiet school to work through his college years at, and sort of take a bit of a vacation from Sin-Eating... well, more or less. Maine, being, well, Maine, can't possibly be a very interesting place to be. So, ARU and a relaxing time await. Right? Right!

Mortal:
- ARU: Chance is going to be attending ARU, are you? Teaching, studying, or what not?
- Artist: Chance is a passable artist, and will be majoring in Art. But this passion isn't just about school, so any Arty types may find a lot of common ground with him.
- Cooking: His other passion is food, and he's a pretty good cook.
- Martial Artist: He's a skilled (but not yet accomplished) martial artist, focused on fitness and meditation as much as the dance of blades.
- Highly athletic in general. Exercise? Check. He'd be there.
- Rich: A trust-fund kid, he is used to the finer things in life. He doesn't have control of his money, so has a limited allowance under the watchful eye of a business manager -- but he likes nice things and nice places.
- Asian: He's half-Japanese, and speaks it fluently. He's not very well in tune with the culture, but is trying to learn.
Supernatural:
- Sin-Eater: He is a Silent (though somewhat atypical), chosen by the Ravenous Child.
- Reaper: There are people in the world that need to die. Chance has seen and suffered the darkness, and who better to judge?
Esoteric:
Chance is not famous, at all: no fame! But a few things have happened in his life that it is possible someone could dig up, or have heard about -- though this is very unlikely. Its included just in case someone wants something more specific.
- His mother, Diane Itō, was Chef-Owner of a fairly well regarded restaurant in NYC, focused on Asian Fusion with Classical French counterpoints. In NYC the city of a million Michelin Stars, this wasn't a stand-out, but it was very much a success anyways.
- He was kidnapped at 15, and the ransom was botched: his Mother died, and he was thought dead. He walked out of the woods a near-starved sack of bones and was in the hospital for weeks. It was covered in the news for awhile in NY a few years ago.
- He self-published a comic book (money is nice) as a teenager that had some twenty four issues in limited edition (seriously, he made like maybe 12 of each), sold across four shops in NYC. Maybe you were one of the two people in the world who bought them.
- His father, Itō Katsuo, ran a very successful import/export business called the Itō International. Neither Chance nor his Mom had a clue what the business was about: it all sounded so boring to them both. But he made a lot of money, until he was murdered under suspicious circumstances (though it was later ruled a mugging).

Men Without Hats - Safety Dance
- You can dance if you want to.
- You can leave your friends behind.
- Because your friends don't dance.
- And if they don't dance,
- Then they ain't no friends of mine.
