ML05 -- Old Logging Road - Deep Forest - Northwestern Forests

Description

xxxxxThe narrow remnants of an old dirt logging road snakes its way through a land gradually shifting from marshland to dense forest. It cuts a meandering path, roughly following the Northeast to Southwest axis. Runnels from water erosion border on ditch-size in many places while tree and tall weeds threaten to obliterate the road entirely. Braches overhead have woven into a thick canopy, making the road feel as though it were a tunnel cut through living wall of vibrant foliage rather than stone. It continues further to the southwest towards the marshland's heart and exits to the northeast onto a better maintained road in the northwestern forest's core.

xxxxxPart of the Savage Fens.

xxxxxDeep within the wilds of the Marshlands one finds a place of strange order. It's natural order, a easy blending of humanity and spirit. There is a Glade here, a place of calmness among the wildness that is the Marshlands. The resonance is peaceful, the place is very soothing.

xxxxxThere are signs of humanity here, living in peace and harmony with the marsh. Spirits drift here, of all natures, finding it a place of refuge - and indeed they are quick to deal with anyone who breaks that refuge. It is clearly a place of harmony and rest, a place to find yourself again or a place to recuperate if needed.
