xxxxxHaving been in Aleswich for the past couple of years, Sister Mary Catherine has been watching and observing in her quiet position at St. Anthony Parish. She consoles those who need her help, often going out and being the chirpy, chatty and chubby nun at the local soup kitchen and homeless shelters. She spends much of her time at local volunteer organizations, aiding in the relief of the local populace and often walks home at night, even in her habit. What only a few know is that she's still an active night stalker, patrolling the streets at night, protecting those who would be ignored by regular society; mainly the homeless, young and infirmed. She's on a holy mission to smite evil, and now that she's aged quite a bit, looking to pass on her knowledge and perhaps find a successor.
xxxxxOnce more, Mary Catherine was called on a hiatus in order to serve the church properly. Things happened on that trip as she took her charge and protege with her. She has returned a changed woman, more physically fit, and a bit more worldly than she was before. Who knows what exactly happened then? She won't say, but she's even more resolute in her mission.

- Soup Kitchen Lady! - Volunteer at the local soup kitchen? Homeless shelter? Then you may have noticed the chatty and outgoing nun, always smiling, trying to find out what she can about what's going on the streets.
- Parish Choir Director - A devout Catholic? Or at least go to Church every few Sundays or so? Have an interest in sharing your talent with the parish? Well, she's the parish choir director and is always happy to train new recruits. No singing experience needed.
- Gravy! - Gimme gimme gimme gravy tonight! yes, it's one of her favorite songs!
- Nightclubbin Nun? - Long after the soup kitchen and homeless shelters have closed, she often wanders the night, going to seedier locations. Perhaps she's trying to spread the word of God or just trying to find lost souls to bring back to the Parish Homeless shelter? Or is she doing something else?
- Government contacts? - She was off doing a bit of 'spiritual consulting' for a few government agencies while she was off doing her thing. Who knows, maybe the governments of the world are becoming more aware of the supernatural? Or is it something else?
The Vigil
- Mary Catherine, the Vampire Slayer - Dun dun! A fighting nun from the Order of St. Longinus, she has slain numerous vampires,ghouls and shambling hordes in Rome. Naturally, she didn't do this one on one, as she worked closely with the cell, taking the classic position of cleric, as she could buff her cell or even heal them. Still, she's no slouch when it comes to keeping the undead away from her. If you're a hunter, maybe you've heard of the quiet nun stalking the streets at night in Rome? Now that she wanders around at night here, could it be the same person?
- Malleus Maleficarum - There is finally progress! Female empowerment! As such, Mary Catherine is the current head of the Malleus Maleficarum in Aleswich. Her influence not only extends through her parish due to her status, nor just over her cell, but any new MM member would know. Are you MM? Let's meet!
- Nightly Patrols - are you a creature that stalks in the night? Want to have a little run in? That works too. She's just a chubby nun. Totally helpless afterall. >.> <.<

- MC Enemy #1
- Vicar Frost of the Lancea Sanctum - The old man stared at me. He stared at me in that way that he wanted to eat me. Vampire. He and Mr. Pointy need to have a quick conversation.
- The House of Saint Simon
- Monsignor Nils Nylund - It's the old man! Yes, she can say this. They've known each other for a long time and being assigned to a cell with the colleague of her mentor is a great honor. Now he serves as the senior advisor and research expert for the cell.
- Finn McGovern - Hard working boondock saint. Definitely a devout Catholic and picking up the lore of the church. Wonder if Father Nils can get him to perhaps consider becoming an ordained minister? At minimum.
- Thomas O'Rourke - All American boy. Hard working, and well... technically dead. It's the power of the miracles that we have learned to channel that he's alive, though he's now a bit off. Nils and I watch him for his own good. Hopefully we don't get in trouble with the O'Rourkes for this.
- Kathleen Chevan - Beautiful voice. Active vampire slayer. This one will have much to learn.
- Pete Williams - A man with a dark past. But won't dwell on it. He is now using his talents to serve our Lord.
- Cody Flores - Newest recruit; training him to keep the Vigil.
- Other Hunters
- Eva Brandt and Ezio Salvatore - Yeah, they go together. Whether he says it or not, he's a kept man. Eva likes sex too much. She talks too much and is clearly in control of the relationship.
- Neil Vaughn - Interesting, though while he might seem to be corporate scum, he wants to help the people. I am curious about his motivations, but if he is willing to use his clout to give out low cost pharmaceuticals to the impovrished, then he and Atlas Corp can't be that bad.
- Mercy - Creepy. >.<
- Barnabas Dunlin - I am such a fan! But it turns out he keeps the Vigil as well. Could definitely be useful. And he's adowabow. Reminds me of Ash from Army of Darkness.
- Shepherd - Interesting young man. another Hunter it seems, military-ish. Will have to find out more. Yes I do.

This is how Mary Catherine is now. She's gotten a bit more in shape and lost a good 50 pounds or so on a diet of fighting and kicking ass for the Lord!
